Day 1

The pick up starts at 8:00 am from your Hotel by car or by van to the main port of Manaus to embark on board in a boat with cabins or boat with hammocks a welcome drink will be served onboard the guide will introduce the crew and facilities then start navigation down the Rio Negro passing by the meeting of the waters where the Negro river meets the Solimoes forming the amazing Amazon River that flows all the way to the Atlantic Ocean.

At this point the visitor will have opportunity to visit a fish farm and see the biggest Amazonian fish called (Pirarucu) continue navigation to the January ecological park to appreciate the water lilies (Vitoria amazonica) at this area you have the opportunity to explore the small rivers the flooded forest and observate wildlife like the squirrel monkey, howler monkeys exotic birds, etc after this the boat starts the navigation upstream on the amazon river for about 4 hours to the Januarca community.

After, dinner you have a night boat excursion to spot Caimans (Alligator relative) your guide will catch one with his own hands using a flashlight to take some pictures of this fascinated reptile and then release it to the river after this tour you go back to the boat to spend the night.

Day 2

Wake up at 5:00 am for sunrise and bird watching you have the chance to see nice birds monkeys and dolphins after this tour you go back to the boat to have breakfast. The navigation continues for about 4 hours into a canal that connects to the Mamori river.

At 2:30 pm you have another boat excursion this time you go canoeing in the flooded forest and canals, you have chance to see a sloth, it depends how lucky you are these animals live on the treetops probably you see reptiles like Iguanas, snakes, dragons, and Monkeys return to the boat about 6:00 pm. After dinner your guide will tell you some jungle stories.

Day 3

Wake up at 7:00 am for Breakfast and start with a jungle walk for about 2 hours in the primary forest your guide will show you medicinal plants edible fruits like Brazil nuts very common in the region, explanation about flora and fauna, jungle survival techniques, you have chance to see different species of plants and trees probably you will find a Tarantula, poison frogs that are used by Indians in their darts to paralyze monkeys after the jungle walk returns to the boat to have lunch.

At 3:00 pm you go by motorize boat for piranha fishing (about 22 species) you have the chance to eat them if you catch a good size, in the way back to the boat you have the opportunity to observate the pink river Dolphins exotic birds and monkeys return to the boat for dinner.

At 8:00 pm you go for a night boat excursion to observate nocturnal animals like night birds, caimans, snakes, night monkeys etc, return to the boat about 9:30 to spend the night on board.

Day 4

At 8:30 am you go by motorized boat to visit a native family (Caboclos) people who were born in the region you can have an idea how the people live in the interior fishing and farming are the main economy of those people you have the chance to see the manioc flour process called Farinha (cereal typical from the amazon area), return to the boat to have lunch.

At 2:30 pm you go by motorized boat to spend the night in the jungle in hammocks with mosquito nets it is an interesting experience where you can learn more about the jungle, dinner will be served in the jungle near a fireplace.

Day 5

At 8:30 am you start with a new activity your guide will take you to see the amazing Samauma tree (Ceiba pentandra ) these trees are known by its buttress roots and people can hold their hands to surround this tree these trees are typical from the flooded forest it is also called home tree as well as rubber trees your guide will show you how to get the latex and explain about the rubber boom period.

At 3:00 pm you go fishing this time you have the chance to catch different species of fish like the black piranha, pacu, traira, etc in the way back to the boat you can also observate the pink river dolphins and a beautiful sunset return to the boat to have dinner.

Day 6

After breakfast you start with a jungle walk in a different area you have chance to see different trees plants may be poison frogs, snakes, Tarantulas in the way back to the boat you have chance to observate exotic birds, dolphins return to the boat for lunch, take a shower and start to pack the way back is done by road arriving in Manaus about 5:00 pm a van or a car will be waiting for you to take you to the Hotel or Airport, end of the tour.

OBS: On your last day you can decide to go back to Manaus by boat or by van.
