Day 1

Leaving from the main port of Manaus at 9:00 passing by the fish market then go to the meeting o of the waters where the Negro river and the Solimoes meet together forming the amazing Amazon River that flows all the way to the Atlantic Ocean.

Then continue upstream passing by the Costa do Catalao a floating village with about 30 families then arrive in the January ecological park to make a catwalk in the canopy to appreciate the water lilies (Vitoria Regia), lunch on board and continue navigating until arrive to the Jacareubal a very nice place with many canals creeks and surrounded by forest the boat will stop at this place to spend the night.

Day 2

Wake up at 5:00 am for sunrise and bird watching early in the morning is a good time to see exotic birds, monkeys, and dolphins.

Return, to the boat to have breakfast and continue navigating up Negro River passing by the Anavilhanas Arquipelago with about 430 islands at this point you can enjoy the landscape lakes canals creeks arriving in the Apuau river in the afternoon and continue navigating more inside where you will see the only primary jungle and flooded forest a perfect combination to see wildlife dinner on board and start with a night boat excursion you have the chance to spot wildlife most of the animals are nocturnal your guide will explain to you what you need for this tour, return to the boat to spend the night.

Day 3

Wake at 7:00 am to have breakfast and start with a jungle walk for about 3 hours your guide will show you some medicinal plants edible fruits like Brazil nuts Açai berries as well as monkeys frogs reptiles explanation about the flora and fauna jungle orientation, jungle techniques like how to get fire water and food return to the boat to have lunch.

At 3:00 pm you go by motorized boat for piranha fishing about (22 species) you have a chance to eat them if you catch good size in this area you have the opportunity to catch the black piranha considered the biggest, return to the boat to have dinner.

Day 4

Wake up at 7:00 am to have breakfast and after you go canoeing inside the flooded forest this a very nice experience where you can appreciate this amazing environment and see how the water rises during six months from January until July this is a good chance to spot wildlife like monkeys, reptiles, frogs, exotic birds, bromeliads, orchids, etc.

Return to the boat to have lunch and continue navigating downstream to the Negro River until it arrives to the Cuieiras river the boat will stop at this place to spend the night in a cabin or hammocks.

Day 5

Wake up at 7:00 am to have breakfast and continue navigating through the Anavilhanas Archipelago until you arrive at the Acajatuba River you have a chance to observe the pink dolphins very common in this area you can also have a swim at this place lunch on board.

At 3:00 pm you have another boat excursion this time you go to explore more canals and creaks you also have the opportunity to observe a sloth it depends how lucky you are as well as toucans and parrots, return to the boat to have dinner.

At 8:00 pm you start with a night boat excursion this time you go for Caiman spotting (Alligator relative ) your guide will catch one with his own hands using a flashlight you can also hold it and take some pictures of this fascinated reptile your guide will give you an explanation about it and then release it after this tour you return to the boat to spend the night in hammocks or cabins.

Day 6

Wake up at 7:00 am for breakfast and go to visit a native family called caboclos (people that were born in the region)during this visit you can see the manioc flour process called Farinha (cereal typical from the Amazon area)as well as Açai juice process visiting their plantation etc, return to the boat and continue navigating until arrive to the Tupe river beach and spend a few hours relaxing and swimming after lunch the boat continue navigating until arriving in Manaus about 5:00 pm a van or a car will be waiting for you to take you to the hotel or the Airport.
