Day 1
Day Leaving from the main port of Manaus at 9:00 passing by the fish market then go to the meeting of the water where the Negro river and the Solimoes meet together forming the amazing Amazon river that flows all the way to the Atlantic Ocean.
Then continue op stream passing by Costa do Catalao a floating village with about 30 families then arrive in January Ecological Park to make a catwalk in the canopy to appreciate the water lilies (Vitoria Regia), lunch on board and continue navigating until arriving to the Jacareubal a very nice area with many canals, creaks and surrounded by forest the boat will stop at this place to spend the night.
Day 2
Day Wake up at 5:00 am for sunrise and bird watching you have chance to see exotic birds, monkeys, and dolphins, etc return to the boat to have Breakfast and continue navigating until arriving to the Jaraqui community about 30 families at this place you will start with a jungle walk with a native guide for about 3 hours you have chance to see medicinal plants big trees edible fruits like Brazil nuts and Açai as well as monkeys explanation about the flora and fauna, return to the boat to have lunch.
At 3:00 pm you go to spend the night in the jungle with your guide and the native guide you will spend the night in hammocks and mosquito nets the dinner will be served in the jungle near a fireplace you will listen the night sounds like the frogs, insects, howler monkeys, etc.
Day 3
Day Return to the boat at 7:00 am to have Breakfast and about 8:30 am you cross the Negro river passing by the Anavilhanas island a very big archipelago with about 430 island then arrive to the Acajatuba river a very nice area with many creaks and canals to explore in this area you have chance to dolphins the grey and the pink dolphin at this place you will take a boat excursion before lunch to recognize the area, return to the boat for lunch.
At 3:00 pm you start with a new activity this time you go piranha fishing (about 22 species) you have chance to eat then you catch good size in the way back you can also go inside the flooded forest (from February to July) you have chance to find a sloth it depends how lucky you are as well like monkeys and parrots return to the boat to have dinner.
At 8:30 pm you start with a night boat excursion this time you go for Caiman spotting (Alligator relative) your guide will catch one with his own hands using a flashlight you can also hold it and take a picture of fascinated reptile after this your guide will make an explanation and then he will release it in the river and go back to the boat to spend the night in cabins or hammock.
Day 4
At 8:30 am you go to visit a native family called (Caboclos) you have a chance to see the manioc flour process called Farinha (cereal typical from the Amazon area) as well as the Açai juice process.
After this visit return to the boat and continue navigating until you arrive at the Tupe River beach to spend a few hours relaxing and swimming. After lunch start returning to Manaus arriving in the city about 5:00 pm a van or a car will be waiting for you to take to the Hotel or the Airport.
